Personal Electronics Concealment, LLC Introduces The e-Holster® A Revolutionary
Product Designed To Fashionably Keep Personal Electronics Personal
Saint Augustine, FL January 25, 2000: As Bill Gates so clearly stated in his
book, Business @ The Speed of Thought (Warner Books, Inc.), "Information
technology and business are becoming inextricably interwoven". Within this
virtual reality, the e-Holster® has been created to facilitate the "Web
Lifestyle" which Mr. Gates envisioned by keeping personal electronics where
you need them, when you want them. No more digging around in your briefcase,
pocket or purse for your wireless phone, pager or PDA. e-Holster® keeps personal
electronics personal.
The e-Holster® is a revolutionary personal electronics accessory that lets
you wear your personal electronics and conveniently access them when you need
them. The e-Holster provides the increasingly necessary function required by
the "Web Lifestyle" of comfortably carrying from two to five (a pager
can be clipped onto the e-Harness/e-Holster without need for an e-Pouch® providing
a fifth application) personal electronics items inside of a very flexible, yet
protective black neoprene or black leather e-Pouch® with safety straps.
Both e-Holster Professional models, the Basic EHBP (constructed of high quality
synthetic holster material) and the Leather EHLP model (constructed of high-grade
leather) are unisex, available in black only and one-size-fits-all. All e-Pouches
are ambidextrous equally accommodating both left and right handed users. The
e-Pouches are modular and can be added, deleted or moved from side to side simply
by snapping and unsnapping from the e-Harness. Each e-Pouch can be adjusted
on the e-Harness and the e-Harness itself can be adjusted to meet not only the
users specific needs but anatomy as well.

without
a briefcase.

electronics when carrying multiple personal electronics on a belt, around
the waist, and especially when in an automobile with seatbelt fastened.
4. Protects personal electronics from damage and theft.
5. Projects an image of high-tech fashion.
As the e-Holster® has been designed by two of the leading "concealment
experts" in the U.S. the e-Holster® can be worn under a coat for business
without noticeable bulges or can be worn casually over a T-shirt or blouse with
comfort. The e-Holster makes a very strong fashion as well as a technology statement
about the wearer.
The e-Holster is the manifestation of a solution to a problem that Tom Traeger,
CEO of PEC, LLC had as an early adopter of high technology, personal electronics
products. "After I bought my Nokia 6161 wireless phone and added a Palm
Pilot III I had run out of pockets and/or belt space to carry my personal electronics
comfortably so as necessity is the mother of invention I created my own solution,
the e-Holster."
To bring his ideas to reality Traeger enlisted the services of "holster-master"
Jerry Ahern, who is not only an "old-school" holster maker, but a
s a concealment expert has been published in CCW (Carrying Concealed Weapons),
is a regular contributor to Gun World and formerly Holster Editor for Petersen's
Handguns as well as an accomplished science fiction writer located in Commerce,
GA. "Jerry took my problem and my ideas and transferred them into a preliminary
leather prototype which I wore for months" says Traeger. "While I
knew that the e-Holster was a superior way to carry and access personal electronics
after breaking my Palm Pilot when it dropped out of the first e-Pouch I knew
we had to design the e-Pouches to hold personal electronics comfortably and
still pass the "swing test" which is taking the e-Holster off with
your personal electronics still inside and swinging it 360 degrees at speed.
When your personal electronics don't leave the e-Pouch at high speed you have
been successful."
Jerry Ahern then guided Traeger to Gene DeSantis, president and owner of DeSantis
Holsters in New Hyde Park, NY. Gene, also an expert in holster design and high
volume production, has the production facilities as well as the knowledge of
production to make the e-Holster a commercial reality. Gene and his staff worked
to create many, many more prototypes of the e-Holster, e-Harness and the e-Pouches
ultimately resulting in the two professional models which the company is now
introducing the e-Holster Basic Professional (EHBP) and the e-Holster Leather
Professional (EHLP).
